Birthday week this year ended up becoming a dining out bonanza, and I managed to get to several new restaurants. I have to say, it was the perfect way to spend a birthday week. The best gift this year were my fabulous friends and family, who enjoy great food as much as I do!
On a Thursday evening we headed out to meet my mom at Big Fish, running late, as usual when it’s the two of us, and procuring ourselves a speeding ticket on the way, which just arrived in the mail yesterday as a belated birthday present. The atmosphere was cozy, dominated by light wood decor giving a nice beach vibe to the restaurant. It was full and there was a pleasant hum of conversation that wasn’t overwhelming in the smaller space.
